About Me

Hi -- My name is Tyler & I live in the Bay Area of Northern California. 

I'm a self-taught photographer and have grown my passion for photos during the last seven years. As I learned more and invested in better equipment - both for fun and in my day job with a nonprofit - I've volunteered to capture photos for numerous charitable organizations, friends and friends-of-friends. 

Now it's time to push past my comfort zone and put myself out there professionally. I won't lie... this is new for me. But it's exciting! And while being a freelance beginner means some learning along the way, it also means that I'll go above and beyond to provide the best possible product for you - at a flexible price.

Here's a little about me: 

• I'm originally from Chicago, have lived in six different states and I've traveled internationally to cover events.

• I've worked in a number of different media-related fields including in professional baseball, Las Vegas and the nonprofit world. 

• I love working for a nonprofit & volunteering my time to support others. If I could do everything for free, I would. But anyone who lives around the Bay Area knows... it's not easy. Starting my freelance work is about learning, growing and helping to support my family's future.

Here's a little about working with me:

• I care about you & your event, business, etc. When we work together, I'll treat it like a partnership & will work hard to deliver your vision. Plus we'll have fun! The more comfortable you are, the better the experience & the better the photos. 

• Communication is key. Before we start a project, I'll want to know the ins & outs of what you want. Preferred shots? Sizes? For what are the photos being used? The more information I have, the better the product that will be delivered.

• I often think with my heart and will be flexible on pricing for charities, new businesses and anyone who wants to capture special moments but can't afford higher rates.
